The Afterschool Loft is located in the repurposed shed and has fantastic curved barrel roof ceilings with an assortment of hand-made decorations by the children mixed with permanent features such as sailing boats, large format planes, trains and automobiles. The rooms have designated play areas with desks for structured play and learning, reading areas and use of the games room complete with table tennis, pool table and foosball. When weather permits, the afterschool get time to play old favours like ‘capture the flag’ or ‘hide and seek’ in the secure meadow paddock that the staff supervise.
The afterschool is a chance for the children to relax and unwind after the demands of school offering up the chance to interact with their peer group.
